Robert J. Wilf (Wynnewood)

I can say without hesitation that the Philly JCC Early Learning Centers at Robert J. Wilf and Temple Brith Achim are the very best places to learn, grow, and play. Our teachers are dedicated and committed to offering children the most meaningful experiences each day. I work closely with Natalie and Nick to support this program in every way possible, and together with our amazing team of outstanding educators, we create a nurturing and inspiring environment for children and families.

I have over 30 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, and Early Intervention, with many of those years spent working in Jewish institutions. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Temple University and my master’s degree in Special Education from Saint Joseph’s University.

My educational philosophy is rooted in the belief that every child is capable, curious, and full of potential. I value play as the foundation for learning and see each child as a unique individual who deserves to be celebrated. I believe in building strong partnerships with families, fostering inclusive classrooms where every child feels seen and valued, and empowering teachers with the tools, encouragement, and professional respect they need to thrive. Above all, I strive to ensure that our centers are safe, joyful, and inspiring places where children can develop a love of learning, a sense of belonging, and the confidence to be themselves.

Family is very important to me. My daughter, Emily, is proud to serve here at the JCC as our Marketing Director. My son, Jeremy, works in IT, and my stepson, Ben, is a chemist. I am married to my wonderful husband, Steve, and together we share three children, one grandson named Bodhi, and Charley, our adorable Yellow Lab.

I have an open-door policy and welcome families to reach out to me by phone, email, or simply by stopping in. I am looking forward to another year filled with joy, discovery, and growth for our children, families, and staff.
